"BLUE RODEO" One of the earlier projects of mine, I had to dig hard for any photos of this one. I made a huge bonfire that had to last for several hours without deforming - this involved soaking those timbers in a pool for a few days and a lot of strategic spot extinguishing with a hand-line. This ended up looking great and we were finally able to let it burn down. The rain scene was a nightmare but came out great - the problem was due to inadequate water supply by the truck which was rented. I suppose someone misunderstood my 1500 gpm request for a 150 gpm request. All in all we got the shot. At one point production had asked me to make it snow in Tucson in the summer, but then canceled it due to the budget. That would have been fun! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
