"THE LIEUTENANT OF INISHMORE"

This project was a great challenge! There were five weapons, firing about 70 blanks per show - which meant there was a LOT of cleaning to be had each day. Thanks for all of your help David!

You'd be surprised on how much maintenance must be performed on blank-firing guns to keep them operating throughout a show like this. After all was said and done, we fired over 1000 blanks. Weapons training included shooting live ammunition at Caswells so the actors could get a feel for shooting a real weapon.

Of course, the weapons were only the beginning - four people and one cat were "shot" each day with horrificly large amounts of blood spewing all over the place. This was accomplished with pneumatic blood cannons - each one held up to one quart of blood, and were fired electrically from the control panel on cue.

A very fun project, indeed.
